Summers Manor Apartamentos

I’ve been here 2.5 years and I have to say their property managers are the best.
For example, this week I walked into the kitchen to start dinner and found a puddle of water leaking out from under the sink. It was a little after 4:00 and I called Mary, the property manager, hoping to catch her. She walked right over to help and the maintenance man was there a few minutes later. They cleaned up the water in the cabinet and got the leaked fixed. Dinner wasn’t even late.

Seems like a nice complex from the outside. Modern units. Quiet complex. But today I hit my limit of things I am willing to put up with.

For example, I didn't say anything when:

1)We moved in and there were stains on the carpet and a big paint splatter on the wall of the second bedroom. Apparently, they do not change out the carpet (or clean it very well) or re-paint between tenants.
2) After moving in my husband and I bought a grill for the balcony, since there were allowed and multiple... tenants had them. Then, at the beginning of summer, the complex changed their mind and banned grilled from the property. This was frustrating after spending a few hundred dollars on a grill.
3)Bans on the little things: a hummingbird feeder on the porch or a privacy screen on the balcony.

HOWEVER, yesterday I put in a maintenance request for a new water filter for our refrigerator and for someone to come look at the lights (things the complex has replaced in the past). They constantly go on and off, even after we replaced them BEFORE submitting a maintenance request, they go out within days. We think it might be something with the wiring.

Today, managements sent out an email to the community saying they will no longer be replacing lights or water filters for refrigerators. The day after my request for help, they stopped offering these repairs for all units. I also did not find out until a community letter was sent.

I'm furious and fed up. I hope this review helps others. Lee mas

The units are well kept. Easy entry for device dependent person. I.e. Walker's, canes. Nice living space, kitchen are easy to work in.. laundry room easy access. A actual room. TheWalk ways and grounds are immaculent.
The manager on premise
Was very sweet. Took her time showing us around. Answered all our question . Never feeling rushed. She called someone else to find out an answer to one of our concerned. It was then she showed us she was concerned about the tenants. Also was right on the... problem. And handled it with direct professionalism. And with promptness. This was the best choice for us. To live in this amazing community. We are very happy with our choice. Lee mas
