i LOVE it here

since the new management took over, this complex has been better than ever. the ladies in the office are so kind and will do whatever they can to help no matter the situation. the maintenance crew is awesome too! our issues are always resolved in a timely manner. we also love the indoor pool! overall, i highly recommend this place.

Do not move here. Move anywhere else. Live in your car, if this is your only other option.

The management has declined steadily since we moved in. The turn over rate in office staff is a quite sad. Though it doesn’t surprise me, if their skill level is any indicator of the management that they work for, I would probably leave after a couple of months, too. The parking situation is outrageous; you’re allowed 2 cars per unit, but can rarely find an actual parking spot for even just 1 vehicle. People park all over as a result, in the fire lanes, in front of the trash cans... and this... is a daily occurrence. While this has been brought to the attention of management, they apparently “cannot do anything” as they “leave at 6 daily and are not here to witness the issue.” Additionally, while I can’t speak for everyone’s “neighbor situation,” ours is awful. There are 3 party people living next door, and they like to have their adequately sized fiestas several days per week. They blast very loud music, accompanied by shouting over their own music, and random bouts of boastful laughter (I think they got a karaoke machine recently, and “because I got high” just might be their all time favorite phrase). This is by no means restricted to weekends, and often takes place Monday to Thursday, between the hours of 9pm and 3am. Management? Also useless in this area. We’ve lived here for almost 3 years. Our newer-ish party people neighbors, and managements seeming disregard for everyone and everything, have finally pushed us over the edge. The only reason we haven’t moved “yet” is because we’re still searching for a home to buy and we really did not want to move twice in a matter of a few months. Guess we’ll have to suck it up and move twice. As of right now, we’re drafting our ‘notice to vacate’, and have the pleasure of doing so to the horrific beat of some too noisy garbage drum knocking up against our bedroom wall. This place really does suck. Do NOT move here. Unless of course you ride the bus, and party people are your kind of people.

Love This Place

My husband and I moved to The Signature 18 months ago after being stationed here with the Navy. We have see a lot of turnover with the staff, but the current staff is the best we’ve seen. The manager Lisa is so caring and compassionate, we can tell she truly cares about us and our comfort living here. The assistant manager Nadia is an awesome lady, always kind and ready to help with anything she can. The new leasing girl Teana is very sweet as well, we just met her as she is the newest addition.... The mainstay is fantastic! When we’ve had any issue they have come right away and taken care of everything. The grounds are always trash free and kept very nicely. I’d definitely recommend The Signature Apartments to all my friends!!

10/10 Would Recommend

I absolutely LOVED living here. The front office staff is incredibly kind and truly cared for our needs. Lisa (lead leasor) always took time out of her work to hear our concerns, no matter how little. Nadia in the front was always sweet and always had a kind tone even when other tenants were rude to her.
We rented a 2b1b, and it was very up-to-date, even the outside porch had a fresh paint job.
The maintenance crew was always on point. Other reviews say they were slow and rude, but I never...
ever had an issue with any of them. And honestly, these guys cared for, what, 200 places and there were three of them and they STILL went above and beyond? Give them a break, these guys kick butt. Also, a lot of these "complaints" listed here were mentioned in the rental agreement, so that's on those tenants, especially if you have pets that piss everywhere (@ carpet).
Overall, this place was great, the staff were overachievers, and the apartments were comfy and updated.

Avoid!

When we first moved in 4 years ago it was okay. However ownership/management of this property has changed several times since then and it's only gotten worse. It seems like they are always out to lunch, but there isn't a set schedule as to when "lunch" is. I've gone to the office anywhere from at 11am to 2pm to find the doors locked stating they would be back in 2-3 hours. I've even gone an hour before closing only to find the door locked and lights off. They have constantly changing staff, and... right now they seem extremely understaffed. They removed all of the weatherstripping and keyhole hardware from our front door the first week of October, and stated they would be done with this maintainance by October 19. It is now Nov 27th and we still have no weatherstripping or keyhole hardware. My heating bill has gone up significantly because of this. When my husband asked when this forced maintenance would be complete they stated that "it should have been done, maybe they missed your place?" And apparently the best they could do was offer to put a maintainance ticket in. This place is overpriced, poorly managed, and when they finally get staff that can do their jobs competently, those people leave quickly. I don't blame them because I can't wait to leave either.
