Mice! Fleas! Broken dishwasher for 4 months! No response from management! At Garden Villa F59
When I first moved in, management would not answer emails, phone, and wasn't in the office during stated business hours. They have been constantly cycling through maintenance people. It took from November 2022 to February 2023 to fix the dishwasher. Sometimes the emails were responded to, but no time frame. Was never reimbursed. Then the mice and fleas showed up. Maintenance just put traps out which didn't help! We had nothing that attract the mice. We sealed up all food, but they still kept... coming despite us being on the second floor. Maintenance didn't look for a hole. When I finally tracked one down, they took a week to fix it. Then they stopped fixing the holes because no maintenance person! They just did an inspection a week after the 3rd hole was reported like it was our fault! The problem got worse, so my roommate and I moved out. They were inflexible with the move-out inspection and would not even sign their name saying the inspection happened. They were very unprofessional and uncourteous. Upon the inspection and my scathing complaints, the apartment manager said she didn't think the holes caused by rodents were important and that we were moving out anyway.
For many nights, I couldn't sleep because I could hear rodents crawling around in walls. Fleas were constantly biting me. A month after I moved most of my stuff out, I still find rodent droppings in my stuff. I find chewed papers. When I lived at Garden Villa, I had poured countless hours and dollars trying to fix the rodent problem with door barriers and more traps. I was emotionally exhausted for months and it may have driven me apart from my roommate! As a truck driver, I need good sleep and that put me at risk. My mental health was severely affected.
They posted a note on our door saying that we couldn't have anything on the porch or the window sill because it "looked bad".
These people are not here to rent you a place to live. They are here to make money off of you in any way they can. Do not rent from the Dobler Company. You will never know who your real landlord is. And they will hide behind walls of managers and bureaucracy to avoid accountability. What's worse, is they jacked up our rent three times in less than a year as their service got progressively worse.
Also the area was rough, my catalytic converter was stolen one time and window smashed another.
I will be taking further action to ensure nobody rents from these awful people again. I will be posting this on every platform.
