Rude Management
I lived in RiverPlace apartments for just under a year. We were getting constant calls for complaints about our dogs barking when we had a camera on them that recorded (sound and video) and no barking was on there. We never left the dogs for more than two hours either. We had to break our lease due to being in the position to buy a house. We had to pay a large fee for “marketing” and they barely marketed the apartment. The night before our rent was due for the next month (we weren’t living... there) Kathy called and told us to cancel our payment as we didn’t need to pay August rent. Come to find out they are charging us for August rent now even though they told us not to and had rented out our apartment. When doing the move out inspection Kathy was extremely rude and condescending. I had spent over two hours scrubbing the oven clean and she claimed it was “unacceptable” and they typically do a “spray and soak for a few hours” to get it clean. If that is how you want it cleaned then tell your tenants that instead of charging extra and being rude. The washing machines were also being misused by tenants resulting in my laundry to get dirty after I had already paid to wash it just to have to pay again to do it all over. They did not do anything about it (no cleaning the machine/reimbursing). The only nice management person was Bobbi.
