Just don’t do it!
I’m extremely disappointed with my experience moving into Mirador at Doral. When I initially applied, I specifically requested and was confirmed for a third-floor apartment. However, just one day before my move-in date, I was informed that my apartment was actually on the first floor. With no time to make other arrangements, I had no choice but to accept an apartment I did not want due to the leasing office’s mistake.
This was my only requirement when choosing this community, and the fact that... it was disregarded has made for a frustrating and disappointing start. I expected better organization and communication from the leasing team, and this experience has left me questioning the management’s reliability. I hope they take more accountability and improve their processes so future residents don’t go through the same issue.
I want to update my review with the pros and cons after living in this community for a few weeks.
Pros:
• The community is beautiful and well-maintained.
• There’s plenty of residential parking available.
Cons:
• Theft Issues & Lack of Management Response: Unfortunately, theft is a problem here. About two weeks ago, someone stole our brand-new grocery wagon near the trash can area. Despite multiple attempts to contact management to review the security cameras—including visiting the clubhouse, calling, and sending emails—nothing has been done. They simply do not care. Customer service in this community is nonexistent.
• Poor Move-In Inspection & Maintenance Problems: We’ve had to submit numerous maintenance requests because the apartment was not properly inspected before move-in. Issues range from non-functioning outlets to a leaking shower molding.
• Subpar Appliances: The refrigerator is extremely small and inconveniently low to the ground, making it difficult to store and access food. Additionally, there’s no built-in water dispenser, so we had to purchase a purified water jug.
Overall, I do not recommend this community. From my experience, the management staff does not care about residents’ concerns and is unresponsive to requests for assistance. For the amount you pay to live here, you should be receiving top-notch service—but you won’t.
Spare yourself the frustration and rent elsewhere.
