Ongoing Issues
I moved into Everleigh "Active" adult community, to enjoy all that Greystar and Halcyon had to offer. The current manager, Nicholas, has brought positive changes and vibes! Unfortunately, over the past several years we've had many staff changes, which is always a cause for concern. Having said that, the management team can only work with what corporate dictates.
Cleaning: There is not, nor has there ever been, a professional cleaning company at this location. In a building of this... size (160+ units and common space), it is impossible to have one person clean this entire building working three days/week. We have a lovely woman who does her best. but unfortunately, it is a never ending battle.
Pool: We have never had a professional pool company at this location. Our maintenance staff does a good job maintaining chlorine levels, and along with residents, keeping the pool clean. However, a professional pool company would be able to stay ahead of any issues during a weekly inspection. Our pool is currently out of service. We have been told that the pump is out (but ordered). Having been through several winters without a heated pool (an amenity that was one of the selling points for me and many residents!) I'm not confident the pool will be heated and usable in the near future.
In closing, our management and maintenance staff do their very best but corporate needs to step up and address all the issues! I would be happy to answer any questions that prospective tenants have.
