Don’t even do it, the location and what you save on affordable rent isn’t even worth it in my opinion. “Amenities” are either nonexistent, like our package delivery system, or they don’t work, like our garage gate. Also, if you like the sound of constant MAJOR construction from the next wall over/above you, for days on end, without any courtesy heads up (as simple as an email), feel free to put your application in. Although, it may get randomly cancelled the first time, delaying your move in... from the run around you’ll get. That was probably my first warning sign to run but I didn’t heed it, so now I’m typing this to save you.

This is your warning. Everything was good until Arcan bought the apartment building. Almost every 3 months there is a new assistant and property manager for the apartment. Corporate isn’t any better. They will lie instead of cooperating, researching, or doing things for the residents. I went 3 months without a key fob because they was supposedly waiting for the key person to deliver the keys. I couldn’t call myself in because I wasn’t in the system. When I didn’t pay rent for the month because I... couldn’t get in the property. I magically got a set that same day. I was on out of town with covid and tried to pay rent. The system was down and I contacted the office letting them know what was going on and when I should be back. Returning home from covid, I arrived to no force entry burglary in my home. I also have a deadbolt lock. This was after maintenance and management changed the locks on my door and entered my home for no reason while I was showering. Thank God I work from home. When I confronted them they said it was an emergency maintenance leak issue. They never knocked on the door, called, or emailed me. They never came back. Then told me they was going to get all the videos and cooperate with law enforcement. When I got in contact with my detective, he told me the apartment was not answering the phones and when he eventually got in touch with them they said they couldn’t help. They cleaned house and the new people was actually good and reasonable. The management extended my lease for 90 days because all the things that happened in the pass to smooth things out with me. This is after they tried to raise my rent almost $400 in less than 3 weeks because you suppose to give 60 days. They end up leaving because they can’t keep good management. I get a paper stating I owe rent for the past two months plus late fees and eviction fees all of sudden when new management come. I went to see what was going on the management acted like they didn’t know what was going on and continued to try to charge me like I didn’t pay rent every month accordingly. They refused to take my money orders multiple times without the extra fees that was not suppose to be there. They kept on asking me did I have proof knowing they have everything documented in the ledger. That shows you what type of time they was on because the lady left. It’s the current property manager and district manager that isn’t professional or honest.

The building fire alarm goes off at early hours in the morning and late at night throughout the week, including weekdays (11pm- 6am). The office has not sent a formal letter or email to paying tenants explaining why the fire alarm keeps going off. The building fire alarm has gone off like this over 9 times.
Imagine working hard all week and waking up to a fire alarm that lasts an hour on a Saturday morning at 5am. Or imagine it being a weekday at 11 pm at night and the building fire alarm goes... off for an hour impacting your rest.
The safety concern is the building fire alarm goes off so frequently that most residents don’t take it serious. Therefore, if it is a real fire most resident will think it is a false alarm.
