Avoid due to the money headaches I've been caused
The cons really outweigh the pros on this one.
Pros
- Friendly maintenance staff
- Great location
- Vaulted ceilings on the first floor
Cons
- The office will pick up once out of every 10 times you try to reach them
- Never received notice about a renewal while living there
- Took 3 months to get a deposit back that wasn't the full $200. When asked for an itemized receipt, I was ghosted. Just received notice 10 months later that they sent me to collections over a $63 balance! Verbally was... told that all balances were taken out of the returned deposit. Funny how they couldn't reply to my email chains saying this.
- I am still owed $400 rent referral 2 years after referring a resident
- First floor apartment flooded from a rain storm. Didn't send maintenance to remove the water so we were forced to rent a machine to remove the moisture on our own :)
- Trash chute is typically backed up so the trash room is covered with loose bags of trash
- Random balances added to the portal that couldn't be explained for. I would have to log into the portal every few days to make sure I wasn't be charged unnecessary charges
- Stolen packages with the set up of the mailroom. Not much the front office can do about this, but they could invest in a better package room system.
- Apartment smelled like cigarette smoke upon move in. Maintenance tried to cover up the smell but it never went away.
For all of the above issues, I had gone to the office multiple times to try and fix it. They were aware of all of this and have yet to make amends on any of it. I would avoid due to the mere fact I am owed hundreds of dollars yet have been sent to collections. I haven't lived there since October '22 and they are still giving me headaches.

DO NOT LIVE HERE
This is the most pathetic apartment complex I have ever lived at and I regret signing my lease so badly. The office staff is rude, combative, and completely incompetent. They are not concerned about their residents and don't understand the requirements of the job. Maintenance is a joke and simply covers up mistakes and doesn't fix the root issues. The place is dated and gross. Don't be lured in by the lower rents - this place is hell!

Avoid these apartments...unless you enjoy having to make numerous calls to get things done
Management staff does not care about the conditions of the property nor the satisfaction of the tenants. You will find notes all throughout the property in which tenants have had to write or type letters about the condition of the property as though it’s an HOA. Tenants should not be responsible for doing the managements work due to their laziness and lack of concern. Things are always broken around the property including the security doors and gates which can be a Huge security concern. ... None of the managers live on property except the maintenance manager (and he seems to be clueless or doesn’t care about the degree of filthiness). Walk around the back elevators and garbage chute and dog area prior to moving in and if you do move in make sure your unit is no where close to either. Disgusting Property in a great location. Would be a great property if they had better management. Take your time to visit other properties in the area that are better maintained, are safer and have security and have management that care about the tenants. I had to escalate my problems with the corporate office and the resolution ended up being me cancelling my lease after only 5 months. One positive is that all of the tenants that I met were really nice...that was pretty much the only positive.

Poor Management
Great location, but very poor management. Management will not provide full disclosure about potential noise levels of the units and/or potential smells in or near the unit.

Future residents beware of parking
I just visited today and unknowingly made the mistake of parking in the lot directly across from the leasing office. I came out to find my car booted which cost me $75 and hours of my time. The response from the leasing agent (Lacy) was apathetically "Oh, yeah, that is not our lot, that happened to me too. "
Besides the fact that city signage for the lot is vague and barely visible when entering and leaving the 'private' lot, there is NOT A SINGLE SIGN from the apartment property indicating... where visitors to the leasing office can park. Street parking in front of the leasing office I guess is supposed to be the option but it is a tight space and looked so sketchy I didn't think it was right.
The LEAST the leasing agents could do, if there isn't a sign from the Lofts, is to verbally check with visitors where they parked so this doesn't happen to them! Especially if the own the leasing agent showing that day had it happen to them!
I may be out time and money, but this property just lost a customer. Not leasing here.
