Do not move here! Lazy maintenance and staff

The maintenance here is lazy. We have gone through maybe three different maintenance teams in the three years we have lived here and they’ve only gotten worse. When we first moved in there was a problem with the water heater. We moved in Dec 2020 and it was cold. So imagine having cold water in the beginning of winter. My fingers were purple. It took them five tries to fix it, even then my husband was the one that told them how to fix the water heater. Our A/C breaks all the time. We called the... maintenance emergency line and it just hangs up on you. Our apartment got up to 79 degrees in the middle of summer and it took them 2 months to fix it. We had to buy a portable air unit for our room. Then they have the audacity to tell us we have to keep the ac at 70, nothing lower. The next incident is their maintenance man came to our apartment and said that they had to check our apartment for leaks because the unit under us had a leak. He came in and busted a hole under our sink in the second bedroom. He said someone would be by next week to fix it. After I sent a rude email saying their employee put a hole under our sink, they came in and “fixed it”. It was the worst patch job ever. Literally just threw spackle over the hole. The next thing is what made us decide to not sign another lease with these people. There was a leak coming from upstairs into our laundry room. I reported the leak and they “fixed it”. That’s not the case because it kept leaking. Two visits late they said they fixed it and they would have someone come into to fix the water damage. We came back from being out of town for a long weekend and came home to MOLD because they didn’t come in and fix anything. Another leak happened and I reported that, they never came in to fix that. Two months later they leave a voicemail on my husbands phone and say they’re gonna have someone fix the laundry room. Guess what? We found BLACK MOLD because they never repaired our laundry room like they said they would. So don’t move here because they don’t care about you at all. They don’t care about this community.

Horrible place to live

management group because at least twice a week the air conditioner goes out of blows fuses but they claim it works just fine. I was told by ernesto in the office that it is livable conditions when I told him the apartment doesnt get below 75 degrees. If I'm paying this much I can have the air at whatever I please. Horrible place to live and very unprofessional staff members. Last and most important is when I was in the office last month Fransisco was yelling and cussing at someone who was trying... to get a lease who had all of the money. I dont care if the guy was yelling at you first you are the management of the apartment complex show professionalism.

Good Potential, but Lacks Proper Maintenance

The floor plans are nice. The location is great. The landscaping is well kept. Google Fiber is here. The new leasing office and fitness center are nice.

Those are the highlights. Now for the issues:

1. The complex was built in 2 sections. I live in the older section, and the roofs need replacing. As a result, I've had 4 leaks (I live in top floor apartment).

2. Carpenter bees have bored numerous holes in the wood siding underneath the roof, which have not been patched.

3. Maintenance cuts...
corners. Response is fast, but the fixes are jerry rigged. Some of the light fixtures in my apartment seem to barely hang on by a loose screw. When I moved in, most of the electrical outlets wouldn't hold my phone charger in them without falling out. I had to convince them that it was not the charger that had an issue. The leaks stained the drywall in the ceiling (interestingly in a line perpendicular to the slope of the ceiling), and rather than replace the bad drywall, they either painted over it or haven't done anything to fix the stains.

4. The apartment manager proudly sent out an email that the gates would be working again in the "next couple of weeks" in January 2017. It's now December, 2017 and the gates never worked, saved for about a month when the back gates were functional before breaking again and going back into a perpetually open state. Management clearly stopped calling/paying the gate people because one of the new gates they were installing is still not secured to the arm that connects it to the opener. It is just tied open with some rope.

5. I don't know what it is, the windows or the walls or what, but there is very little insulation from outside noise. The landscaping crew comes by with their leaf blowers at 7:30am and it sounds almost like they're in my apartment. I overlook the front entrance through the trees and I can hear every car that comes into/exits the complex.

6. The kitchen is quite small, and while results may vary based on the renovation of the apartments, there are no drawers in the kitchen wide enough to fit a standard utensil organizer tray. Bathroom counter is also quite small

7. There are no built in ceiling lights in the den or bedroom of the apartment (the ideal spot is taken by fire sprinklers instead). The den has a light switch that controls an outlet, and my bedroom has a light switch, but they must not have connected the wires that allow the switch to control an outlet because the switch does nothing.
