Most horrible experience
The management company Tenth Street Holdings manage these apartments and other properties surrounding the city. Me and my girlfriend stopped by to apply for an apartment that's located elsewhere, we got approved a few days later, and I was asked if I could stop by and pay the deposit. I paid the deposit 2 weeks before the 1st of August 2019 (move in date). I was told to contact on them on August the 1st so I can pay the rent, sign the lease, and get my keys to the apartment. I received a phone... call to come in to the Park Manor Apartment Office and the land lady who had previously approved me was no longer with the company. I was greeted by 2 new women who had all of the sudden switched up my approval for my apartment. All of the sudden, they misplaced my application, then they found it, then misplaced it again saying it was never ran through the system. The apartment was approved previously and now I am not approved but they took my $625 two weeks prior to this incident. The apartment was not ready to be rented out and that's all they to say instead of lying to me and previously taking my money. My lawyer is on standby if I don't receive my deposit back in the same way I gave it to them. The bad thing about this is, after I was approved, I gave notice to the place I was living at and now I am homeless.
