Good place going slowly downhill
Going with 3 stars here because while they have problems there are much worse options out there. My impression after living here for 6 months is that it’s a good apartment going slowly down hill due to lack of corporate investment.
The good:
- Staff and maintenance has always been friendly
- No really bad issues like shootings/roach infestations
- Gym and some other amenities are nice
- Location is good
- I haven’t experienced any crime like break ins
The bad:
- Amenities (EV chargers) broken... for months, always told they were fixing it soon
- Overall poor communication about maintenance, tickets are always just closed with no comment whether work was done or not
- Roof two floors above me has leaked twice, flooding one of my closets both times
- Hints of mold/moisture issues from said flooding, but follow up inspections had to be requested twice and no results from mold inspection shared
- Some external doors are left unlocked! Maintenance request about it closed with no comment
- Frequent problems with parking garage doors that leave them open for weeks
- Unavoidable processing fees for rent even if a bank account is used
The ugly:
- Pool is gross, people smoke pot in club house
- Being forced to send packages to Fetch address and no way to accept it at building
- Not knowing whether companies need your mail address or Fetch address because you don’t know if they’ll send your mail or packages
- Takes a long time for hallway carpets to get cleaned after getting dirty (dog poop)
- Dog park gets new wood chips very infrequently
