New Management at its Best

Let me say this Madison is the very best and Ms. Valerie takes the cake. When I first read the reviews for this property I was about to move somewhere else. I prayed about it and once I entered the rent office I knew that it was new management in office. They are the best with communicating and very informative. They are turning these apartments around for the good. I’m glad I didn’t let those past reviews redirect me. As long as they are in office I’ll be at Retreat 138

ZERO STARS

The management in this neighborhood is such a bad representation of the company who owns this neighborhood. There is a huge roach problem, the crime is picking up, and it takes Maintenance up to four months to get to your request because they cut corners by not hiring a maintenance team. The dumpster is at the very top of the neighborhood so if you don’t have a car you will be walking half of a mile to throw away her trash every day. The women in the office are unfathomably rude And... unsympathetic to any problems you may have in your apartment, even if it’s a big one and you have children

Dont move here

Property is OVERPRICED! The lack of quality you get does not match the price they are asking! Dont let the model unit they show fool you into signing a lease like we did. Park is broken down, dog park full of poop, volleyball court sand full of bugs, pool closed and dirty, workout room small, printer doesnt work in business center…so basically no amenities! If you need something fixed in your apartment in a timely manner you can forget about it getting done because there are only 2 maintenance... people for the entire complex and they cant keep up with the workload. So prepare to fix the problem yourself or wait weeks for maintenance to do it. There was recently a murder on the property during broad daylight that was reported on the news it was so bad. Cars are getting the windows broken out and burglarized. Breezeways and stairs of the buildings are in desperate need of pressure washing because they are so dirty. The appliances break down multiple times during your lease so they must be the cheapest option available that simply looks good. Flooring is bad so it creeks when you walk. Floors and walls are thin so you hear your neighbors conversations word for word. Windows dont keep out the cold and heat so that is going to effect your electricity bill with the extra heating and cooling your place. Counters are marble contact paper, not real marble counters. Flooring is not real wood flooring, just laminate. The only plus is the rooms are a nice size and you are close to stores and restaurants. But the cons outweigh the pros so unfortunately its not worth the price they are asking. This is a C grade complex with A grade pricing.

Really beautiful complex

My boyfriend and I recently were driving by and decided to stop and see if we could have a tour or see a floor plan. We are not really sure when we will be moving, but the pretty landscaping caught our eye, and drew us in! I love all the pretty trees, and flowers! The palm trees make you feel like you are a resort! The pool and volleyball are all gorgeous, and I know we would use the fitness center every day! We just started looking, but their model apartment is stunning! Retreat 138 is at the... top our list!
