Verified Renter
New resident warning!!!! If you’re considering living here, be aware that rent does not include parking. Residents pay $10/month to park, and every guest vehicle must be registered (vin number, license plate, make/model of their car) and costs $5 PER VEHICLE , PER DAY just to visit, that’s unreasonable. I have a lot of friends and family in the area and don’t want to put $50 aside a month just to have dinner or a game night. I couldn’t imagine dating!!
Less than a month after moving in, my... car was towed. I followed the vehicle registration instructions I was given and never received any notice that my registration wasn’t complete. When I went outside for work, my car was gone. I called the police thinking it had been stolen, and the responding officer handed me a warning notice from the leasing office stating my vehicle wasn’t registered and was at risk of being towed—even though it had already been towed. It cost me $209 to get my car back and I missed half a day of work.
When I spoke with the leasing office, I was told they were “past the warning stage” and that it was “just unfortunate timing” because I had recently moved in. They then gave me a different QR code to register my vehicle, with no effort to resolve the situation or acknowledge the confusion.
Based on my experience, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re searching for reasonable accommodations with more transparent policies and better treatment of new residents.
