renters beware

I have been living here for 3yrs and I have never had such a terrible experience from a landlord. Our entire building of 8 units have been without hot water for 6 DAYS now and are still waiting!!! The basement has flooded at least 3times since I've been here and I've lost countless items in the basment storage unit due to the flooding causing water damage and mold. There is now mold growing up the walls in the basement making its way up to the apartments. We lose heat on a regular basis.
I...
guess the moral of my story is you get what you pay for. Rent is a reasonable price but the health of myself and my child is more important than staying here with an awful landlord who would rather cut costs and make his tenants live without the necessary utilities that are supposed to provided for us.
Also, they hired a new management company recently. We(my neightbors and I) were hoping that the new company would help with any issues getting repairs but unfortunately we are still stuck waiting for these repairs days later and not getting updates on what is happening.
