Good Apartment but not for the Noise Sensitive
I lived here for a year (2018-2019) when I first moved to Baltimore.
Pros: The location is great and really accessible to Johns Hopkins medical campus if you or there or are a student and close to the great places in Fells Point, Harbor East, and the Inner Harbor. Zahlcho Management is pretty good too. They're very quick to respond to maintenance requests and emails with questions. They were also really accommodating at move in/out to make things easier (like prorating the rent). We had a 2... bd/2ba apartment and the new appliances and space in the apartment itself were great. We never had a problem with rodents or insects and it was nice that there was an area inside for package deliveries.
Cons:
The only reason I moved is because this building is POORLY noise insulated. The walls are paper thin and the floor is basically cardboard. Once I heard the neighbors return from vacation after I first moved in, I immediately knew I had to move once the lease was up. You will hear EVERYTHING that your neighbor does especially if you live under another unit (but even neighbors on top units stated they can hear everything from the tenants below them). Every conversation, yell, or bark, every iphone ring or alarm, every thundering footstep (human or animal), toilet flush, whatever song is playing or tv show that is on, even the dishwasher...you will hear the details of it all. Unless you don't care about these things and you sleep like a rock when you're neighbors return at 2am then maybe this could be the place for you.
