This place has mice. I’ve seen two different mice in a 24 hour period. And I am not near a dumpster. Do not move here!

BEST rental experience I have had in 40 years. Looking at BAD reviews they must be from people who do not do their part as tenants or hold things against staff that is beyond their control. Saying stuff about bugs is just inflammatory and not my reality at all. I have never lived in a place where I have never had to call about bugs of some sort, except here.
A townhouse cheaper than most apartments in area and MUCH cheaper than many apartments in Annapolis, convenient location, very... centralized off 97 convenient to stores, quiet family and dog friendly, walkable area.
The maintenance was top notch and staff was always so friendly dealing with issues and showed genuine concern. They followed up on things that kept the property looking nice and feeling safe. They had on going communication of many resources to help families during pandemic, even resources for food and rent support and would help you with process.
The staff, more than any other place made me feel like I was “home” during a scary time. Thank you so much Nicole and Emilee and maintenance staff!

Have been here for about 3 months now and overall we've been pretty happy
Pros:
- everyone in the community have been friendly and we've not had any issues with feeling unsafe
- any time we've had a service request they've been out quickly to address the problem (a con would be they've had to come out multiple times for various issues since move in)
- Leasing office has always been responsive prior to move in and since we've been there
Cons:
- People leave trash bags outside of the dumpsters... and I have personally seen large rats around the dumpsters- luckily we're not directly near the dumpsters or we would most likely have a rodent problem- I would, personally, be cautious of getting an end unit by a dumpster
- They do not have model units (at least when we first started looking in November) so you had to wait for a unit to be vacant in your desired layout and view it prior to the next tenant moving in
-A lot of the kids are often playing by themselves and in groups in the driving area of the complex- younger kids on bikes not paying attention and playing behind cars
- Pantry, bath closet and kitchen drawers all run smaller than what I expected and have experienced before- makes storage somewhat of an issue
- Nothing in the unit is straight-- light switch coverings, wall outlets, the pantry door- even the seam in the wall in the small bath where the ceiling meets the wall itself is not straight. Cosmetic yeah- but annoying
- The AC unit seems underpowered for the size of the unit- downstairs gets cool but the upstairs bedrooms really struggle to maintain temps- we had to buy (2) cooling fans just for the master bedroom alone
- Floors are SUPER squeaky- I try to be thankful it's not horrible in our unit but a (2) bedroom we toured prior to the new tenant moving in was HORRIBLE and if our unit had been like that I don't think it would be tolerable
- Soundproofing: about what we would expect for a rental community- neighbors are pretty respectful but we can hear their music/tv pretty regularly.
-Parking: you have 1 assigned spot but the numbers are mostly faded on everyone's so it makes it difficult at times to see what are free spaces and what are assigned-
- In your lease agreement any boxes (like cable, fios, etc) have to be removed prior to move out- I didn't realize this and it was a major HASSLE to get internet set up- initially Verizon tried to charge me as they thought I cut the box.

My girlfriend and I moved in for a few months before moving out of the area and had nothing but a great experience here. I could sometimes hear my neighbors slightly but that is just part of living in close quarters with other families. Maintenance is extremely responsive and the office staff is extremely friendly and helpful.

The phone rings for a long time and it's difficult getting someone on the phone. When you do get someone, they find one excuse or the other NOT to attend to you. I had a staff tell me i was discriminating because I complained that my neighbor's cooking fills my apartment both upstairs and downstairs. It took them 3 days to clean the mess in front of my apartment. Parking is also an issue.
