We recently ended our lease in May 2024 and heard absolutely nothing over the status of our deposit refund or the list of repairs they used our deposit for. I had to call a month later and was told the check was on hold for some reason. After speaking with Sabrina in the office, she reached out to the accounting area and had them issue the check. We were told to wait two weeks for it to be mailed to us. I verified the address they had on file was the address we had moved to and still have... received nothing. I received a message stating the only way to issue a check is by mail, but that seems odd. I’ve attempted to call the office several times and never get anyone to answer.
Additionally, the apartments looked nice and it was nice to have laundry in unit but for the price, the unit was absolutely not worth it. Nothing is included in the price - which I admit we knew going into the lease, but after living there for a a year and a half, we decided it was no longer worth the price tag for just okay apartments. We had an upper level 3 bedroom and could hear everything (even normal conversations) below us and smell whatever they were cooking. We heard our neighbors on both sides all the time as well. Our downstairs neighbors were very nice about it but they did mention they could hear us just walking across the apartment and every conversation we had. The garages are extremely small and I was always afraid I’d scrape my car going in. Maintenance was kind, but sometimes we waited a while to get simple things such as light bulbs replaced. Towards the end our ac quit working, shower was always cold no matter the time of day or length of shower.
Several of our neighbors moved out during the course of our lease and they all said it was just not worth what you paid for. One of my cousins actually lived there during our lease as well and left recently due to the rent increase and lack of any other reason to stay. They found the same apartment five minutes down the road for a lower price and not right next to the highway.
They do have fun activities for the community to join in on, so there’s something positive.
Before we had this check issue, we decided that it wasn’t the worst experience we could have had and that the apartment (while not worth the price) was at least decent looking and equipped. But now with the frustration of not being able to get our deposit refund in a timely manner - I wouldn’t recommend these apartments ever.

After living here for over 2 years, we understand this place pretty well. This place looks polished and nice, but the construction and noise insulation is horrible. The bottom half apartments are borderline unlivable if you have upstairs neighbors that heel strike, have a dog or kids that like to run around.
If a feeling of lack of privacy bothers you, I would avoid this place. It feels like you are living in a 1900s house with your neighbors living upstairs. Shortcuts were definitely taken to... build this apartment complex, and half the population suffers for it.

The staff working at MCF are terrible to deal with. During our short time of living there we had nothing but problems with their lack of communication and their lack of professionalism. The apartment wasn’t cleaned before hand. The staff does not reply to emails or answer phone calls and rarely has someone in the office.

I'm going on my third year lease in my 3 bdrm & couldn't imagine living anywhere else. It's ideal from the amenities, furnishings, landscape, garages, & clubhouse. Everything is new, fresh, current, WORKING, comfortable, & worth the money. Our managers here are amazing & attentive, always communicative & very helpful. And you can't beat the location with grocery/gas, healthcare, & highway access. I have a lower unit with patio against a shared wooded backyard. The only downside for me has been... upstairs noise, which the complex addressed by adding noise buffering materials, but it's just hard to get around that with apartment dwelling. Trade-off: In my lower unit I never have to run the AC on even the hottest of days, saving me big money in the summer. Overall, this is home, I love it & feel very fortunate to be here.

I have to say I was getting a little tired of construction and constant dirt around community but now that construction has wrapped up I am truly loving my home. There were a few things that happen to be missed during construction but a quick email to the office and maintenace was over to address each of my concerns. I moved into my 2 bedroom apartment last summer and the space is great! There are high ceilings that really help make this feel like home. My neighbors have been great to get to... know and with the yard Finally getting finished up this truly is a beautiful community. I just renewed my lease and look forward to another year of calling this my home.
