Poor communication
We recently ended our lease in May 2024 and heard absolutely nothing over the status of our deposit refund or the list of repairs they used our deposit for. I had to call a month later and was told the check was on hold for some reason. After speaking with Sabrina in the office, she reached out to the accounting area and had them issue the check. We were told to wait two weeks for it to be mailed to us. I verified the address they had on file was the address we had moved to and still have... received nothing. I received a message stating the only way to issue a check is by mail, but that seems odd. I’ve attempted to call the office several times and never get anyone to answer.
Additionally, the apartments looked nice and it was nice to have laundry in unit but for the price, the unit was absolutely not worth it. Nothing is included in the price - which I admit we knew going into the lease, but after living there for a a year and a half, we decided it was no longer worth the price tag for just okay apartments. We had an upper level 3 bedroom and could hear everything (even normal conversations) below us and smell whatever they were cooking. We heard our neighbors on both sides all the time as well. Our downstairs neighbors were very nice about it but they did mention they could hear us just walking across the apartment and every conversation we had. The garages are extremely small and I was always afraid I’d scrape my car going in. Maintenance was kind, but sometimes we waited a while to get simple things such as light bulbs replaced. Towards the end our ac quit working, shower was always cold no matter the time of day or length of shower.
Several of our neighbors moved out during the course of our lease and they all said it was just not worth what you paid for. One of my cousins actually lived there during our lease as well and left recently due to the rent increase and lack of any other reason to stay. They found the same apartment five minutes down the road for a lower price and not right next to the highway.
They do have fun activities for the community to join in on, so there’s something positive.
Before we had this check issue, we decided that it wasn’t the worst experience we could have had and that the apartment (while not worth the price) was at least decent looking and equipped. But now with the frustration of not being able to get our deposit refund in a timely manner - I wouldn’t recommend these apartments ever.
