I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the ongoing maintenance issues, poor management, and overall condition of this property.
The response to maintenance requests has been consistently inadequate. One major example is the air conditioning unit, which required replacement throughout the summer. Despite multiple requests, maintenance did not address the issue until two to three weeks before summer ended, at which point I was informed that “higher management wants to wait until... next summer to replace it.” This is only one of several maintenance concerns that were either delayed or ignored entirely. It is especially concerning given that a maintenance employee lives on-site, yet routine and necessary repairs continue to go unresolved.
When I moved into the unit, it was clear that proper cleaning had not been completed. There was an overwhelming amount of air freshener used, which appeared to be an attempt to mask lingering odors. The unit had previously been occupied for over ten years, yet key items such as carpeting and other basic fixtures were not replaced. This left me moving into a unit that was not properly prepared for a new tenant.
Additionally, management has been extremely unprofessional. One manager, whom I believe is named Bree, has been consistently rude and dismissive. Her lack of professionalism and customer service skills has made it difficult to address concerns or feel heard as a resident.
The property itself raises serious safety concerns. There is no parking lot surveillance, which has led to vandalism and other sketchy activity. When issues occur, management’s response is simply to tell residents to contact the police, rather than taking any responsibility or preventative measures to protect tenants.
Overall, this property is poorly maintained and poorly managed. I strongly urge prospective tenants to carefully consider these issues before choosing to live here.
