Terrible

I had a very negative experience living here. There were several significant issues that made my stay stressful and unpleasant:

1. Cockroach Infestation: I was promised regular pest control, but despite multiple requests, the landlord never followed through with spraying. The cockroach problem persisted the entire time.
2. No Air Conditioning: I was not informed beforehand that the building had no air conditioning, which made the summer months especially difficult.
3. Security Issues: My...
apartment was broken into multiple times. Despite reporting these incidents to the landlord, nothing was done to improve security or address my concerns.
4. Noise Problems: The neighbors were extremely loud, and complaints to the landlord were ignored. It was nearly impossible to get any quiet or rest.
5. Neglected Maintenance: The building and apartment had several maintenance issues, which were either ignored or took far too long to be addressed.

Overall, I would not recommend living here. The management is unresponsive, and the living conditions are subpar. If you value safety, cleanliness, and proper maintenance, I suggest looking elsewhere.

Needle in the Haystack

This is a great building for the cost. You are within walking distance to Uptown as well as Eat Street and rent is well below anywhere else in this neighborhood. I literally searched for this apartment for months! It is the cheapest you will find for a one-bedroom that isn't the size of the closet plus it has a lot of perks; Cheap off-street parking, hardwood floors, a gas fireplace, built-ins and comes with an air conditioning unit. This is a great starter apartment for someone trying to save... money and have your own place at the same time.
