Pros and cons to this apartment. Management is generally pretty good. Straight forward about rent and their expectations. Slight hassle having to pay for utilities (water, sewer, trash) through a separate company and also pay for laundry. It seems other apartments include more utilities than just heat and wouldn't make us pay for water AND laundry.
BIGGEST PROBLEM: In our apartment (first floor), we have had COCKROACHES, 2 RATS, and BEETLES.... We have had exterminators come in more than 3 times with it not being successful. It works for maybe a few days/a week then they return. The problem was prevalent when we first moved in so it was not due to us living there, we keep a very clean apartment.
The apartment is also recently remodeled. However, the closet doors are very cheap. They fall off the hinges and don't properly open and close.
Nice location overall and close to businesses/downtown Minneapolis. However, had several safety concerns in the past year with a nearby stabbing, mail packages stolen, shooting in front of the apartment building, and others.
Despite all of this, management raised our rent.

Untrustworthy
I have a friend that lived here and maintenance would always harass them when they were around the building. When my friend talked to management about it, they did nothing and instead believed the maintenance people who denied the allegations. They have continued to harass her even after telling management. This kind of treatment is despicable. I would not recommend living here.
