Perfect Downtown Apartment

I moved into this building about 3 years ago and I love it. I was the only the second person to stay here after the renovation so I have no clue what this place looked like before but right now it's extremely modern - the bathroom, the kitchen, the exposed brick all of it is really nice. The building is full of young people and not many units that it's noisy or anything. The building is also near 2 lightrail stations: Downtown East (where you can take the greenline to Saint Paul) and Franklin... Station. Bus routes include 2, 5, 9 and 11. If you're not into public transit consider an Uber since it's never more than $5 to go Downtown or $6 to go Uptown. Walking distance to park right across the street (Franklin Steele) and also to CVS, Electric Fetus, Wendy's, Target Downtown, First Avenue tons of places not even a mile (or a little over) away.

The management is nice, friendly, and understanding. My rent has only gone up one time and they don't bother you about much if at all. I had literally one maintenance issue here when another unit brought roaches into the place when they moved in. I called and they sprayed 2 days later and they were gone for good. I also had to buy an AC for my unit (many in this building don't come with one) and they installed it for me with no problem.
