I live here!

I live at Chroma. I call management and they take care of problems. I have gardens on the rooftop and live the neighborhood! There are lots of dogs (which I don’t mind) and the community here is diverse and inclusive!

Helpful and Flexible Management

I moved into building a few months ago and all of the management has been very helpful. There is obviously a lot going on right now especially in Minneapolis and the management has helped make the transition very easy and smooth. Also, I am very happy with just how new everything in the apartment is as well as how spacious it really is. Overall had a good experience and would recommend.

Awful Experience

I absolutely regret living at Chroma. Just a few of the negatives: my speaker was stolen from the workout room, the hallways constantly smelled like dogs, urine, and weed, every morning (including weekends) I could hear my neighbor's blender at 6 AM, my car was towed from my own spot during my first month of living there (because management had assigned me to an already used spot), my dishwasher broke every time I used it, the other residents were unfriendly, and it's a very sketchy neighborhood... (check out all of the aggravated assaults on crime maps). After my lease ended, the management claimed I had a remaining balance of $750 and took it from my security deposit. I've been asking for receipts to show this balance,(as I payed the same amount monthly and I have receipts of my payments), but they've stopped replying to my emails. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.

Has potential

The complex was nice when I first moved in, but in the past few months the common areas are dirty and the tenets have been disrespectful of walls, furniture and outdoor spaces. The hot water has gone out twice in the last 4 months, and service requests are "resolved" before anyone speaks to me (even if the issue is continuing). The front office staff are extremely nice and help when they can. The potential for this complex to be amazing exists, however, for me it is falling short of my initial... impressions and expectations.

Still paying for Gas two months after moving out!

Don't live here. I am still paying for Gas two months after moving out and Management is either unwilling or incompetent when it comes to resolving the issue. Why would anyone live in a place where management looks at their tenants and past tenants as a mere inconvenience.
