Poor Management and Noise Issues

Terrible experience with noise control and management's inaction. The walls are extremely thin, and I've been suffering from constant noise disturbance after 10 PM from neighboring units, where residents frequently scream while gaming late at night. Despite Minnesota's quiet hours regulations and building policies, the noise issues persist.

The management team is completely ineffective and unresponsive to resident concerns. As other reviewers have noted, they are "horrendous" and "refuse to do...
anything to help residents". Simple complaints take months to address, if they get addressed at all. When you try to communicate issues, management is dismissive and unhelpful.

For the high rent we pay, the living conditions are unacceptable. While the building's amenities might be nice, the lack of proper sound insulation and management's inability to enforce basic quiet hours make this an extremely frustrating place to live. I would strongly advise potential residents to look elsewhere if they value peaceful sleep and responsive management.

Communication with main office and billing is deplorable

Great location and nice amenities; HOWEVER, we were repeated denied access to talk with a decision maker regarding lease issues. In addition, information we were given by the only people we were "allowed" to talk to regarding the second leasee was incorrect. Huge debacle. Never got direct answers from anyone in charge until our Move-Out when we were told we should have talked to someone with more authority--total run around. Despite documentation of conversations verses email and voice... mail--NO ONE really read or responded to our concerns despite over $25000 of yearly rent for a 750 sq. foot place.

Good Rooms, Bad Management

I lived in the Link Apartments for 1 year. I liked the rooms a lot when moving in. They are a little small, but they get good light and have good amenities. I found the management, however, extremely unhelpful. While this might be the case at most large apartment complexes, I found it to be pretty unacceptable. Throughout my year there, my car was broken into and my bike stolen, both while locked and in a "secure" underground parking garage which I payed extra for. After notifying management... about the robberies, no action or compensation was ever provided and I felt that management did not care about me at all. Overall I think that the rooms are very modern and pretty, but with the high rent cost, I feel that management could be much better.

Wonderful, Brand-New Apartment & Super Friendly Staff!

I moved into the Link in the summer last year and honestly have been having the best experience. The Link makes paying rent and finding support so easy. Not to mention the great amenities, the sleekness of community spaces, and proximity to so much (i.e. Twin Cities U of M campus, grocery store Fresh Thyme, light rail access). There are a lot of fun community events that really make this place home!
