Worst place

My roommate and I rented from Tiffany hills townhomes and it’s probably one of the worst places to rent. We had problem after problem with them and they made it hell getting maintenance requests or even speaking to them. When we moved out, they lied to me telling me basically what I wanted to hear about the deposit check. Now we are over a month moved out and still wont be able to cash the deposit check. If you rent from them, good luck if you have any questions or concerns. Hope and pray that... you don’t have any maintenance requests. They will make it so difficult when you move out to deposit the check and will lie to you. So unprofessional.

Space is nice, but...

Facts: We had the 2 bedroom.
Pros: Open concept, large ceilings, fire place, garage, carpeted, large bathroom, maintenance is on site.
Cons: Parking is a nightmare! They don’t enforce the two car rule. If you have a sedan longer than a Chevy impala it won’t fit whatsoever. Don’t even think about SUVs. Office management is difficult to work with.
Story time: The day we moved in our fridge wasn’t cooling down. Turns out it pretty much died and needed a new mechanism, at first. So they had to get...
permission from the owner of the place (never did) and their policy is wait three days before they go in themselves. Mechanism doesn’t work, and we need a new fridge. Takes 2 more days before we get a working fridge. In those first 6 days of moving in, we spent a good $30 on ice to save our food, and lost about $100 worth of food. No check or even apology to make up for something they didn’t check or even turn on beforehand.
Be ready for silverfish and house centipedes everywhere! They only spray for spiders and ants. When we complained about the silverfish they said it was merely a “nuisance.” Well, when you’re killing about six of them in your bedroom a day, there’s probably 100x more hiding somewhere else. So we paid for at least $100 in bug guard and spraying ourselves.
Office isn’t willing to work with you—we wanted to get a dog about 2 months before our lease was up. They still wanted the full deposit ($500 monthly). Asked if they can work with us since we were moving out anyways. Nada. Heartless. Claimed it needs to be the same for everybody. FYI making someone pay the $500 when they move in versus another person $500 for 2 months left does not equal the same.
When we went through our final walkthrough before moving out--made us get new drip pans (when they weren’t cleaned when we moved in) otherwise it would have been $40 to have them replaced versus the $10 we spent. Tried to blame us for dents in the garage when it was very CLEARLY too high for small cars. They will make you pay for the majority of the maintenance required, or it isn’t fixed until a week later. (We had a toilet running—got it fixed and then we went out of town for two weeks. Wasn’t actually fixed and we had to pay $250 in water because they didn’t fix it the first time.)
Don’t expect to get your full deposit back because they will clean the carpets & take it out of your deposit, regardless if they’re clean or dirty. We steam cleaned them ourselves, they took out over $100.

Tiffany Hills Townhomes

These townhomes are very close to shopping, grocery, the airport and interstates for easy access to downtown Kansas City. It is a very quiet community that is well maintained. Offers a pool and small workout area, which most townhome communities dont have. Great for people seeking mutliple bedrooms for roommate living.
