The great room features a cozy electric fireplace, plenty of comfortable seating, and wall-to-wall water views, creating an inviting space for gathering and relaxation. The fully stocked kitchen includes a blender, drip coffee machine with grinder, Keurig machine, cake mixer, pots, pans, oven, serving trays, crockpot, rice maker, dishwasher, toaster, toaster oven, oven, stove, and refrigerator with filtered drinking water and ice maker. Dining and entertaining spaces include a dining table with seating for up to 10 guests, a spacious kitchen island perfect for cooking and socializing, a built-in breakfast nook with seating for 6, and an enclosed patio area ideal for enjoying morning coffee or evening cocktails while overlooking breathtaking sound sunsets.
We welcome dogs only for a fee of $150 per pet per stay, with a maximum of 3 dogs each weighing up to 50 lbs. A pet fee will be applied to cover the cleaning of pet hair, and if any waste beyond hair is found, an additional cleaning fee of $200 will be charged. Pets should not be left unattended in the home, as barking may lead to neighbor complaints, and no dogs are allowed in the pool. Additional pet fees plus tax will be processed through our guest portal after your reservation is confirmed. The pool heater incurs a daily fee of $100 plus tax, billed prior to your arrival if requested, and requires at least 4 days to heat. The pool is closed and covered seasonally from November to March. The use of the hot tub is included in your nightly rate with no additional charge.

Duck is home to midges, tiny seasonal bugs that are harmless and do not bite, but they can appear in large numbers. To keep them out, we recommend keeping doors closed as much as possible and turning off outdoor lights at night, as light attracts them. We regularly treat the area, but they may still be present outdoors. Bug spray is a great idea for enjoying the deck and pool areas. Additionally, snakes from the nearby marsh can occasionally be spotted. If you see one on the property, contact us immediately, and we will arrange for animal control to remove it. Duck Blind shares driveway access with a neighboring property, so guests are asked to park in the designated driveway closest to the home and to be respectful of neighbors.
