Loved It
Was at Woodmont Knolls from December 2017 - September 2019. Like all apartments, there are always pluses and minuses. But overall - this is a great place!
Pros - Well built, hardly any noise, great features, no issues with heat/AC/water/ sewers. Appliances are well maintained and work as expected. Lots of windows, great air flow and light.
Cons: quirky layout, doesn't really flow easily - but manageable. Garbage areas can be a little frustrating. This is not necessarily an issue with the... management company - rather - the residents. There are some people who just toss their trash everywhere in the area (think too lazy to lift the lid to dispose of their garbage. Again - as related to the residents - some people just park in the middle of the road and will make every effort to block others.
Location: eh - next to a highway and office parks. Not ideal, but very convenient to Route 10. Despite this limitation - the developers did their best to make it feel like a community - there is a river in the unit, a walking trail and lots of green spaces.
Amenities: two community grills, pool, workout room and clubhouse. All the areas are well maintained and inviting.
Management Company: Great people! From the leasing agent, property manager, maintenance staff - the people are great to work with. Exceptionally responsive and they made my time there a pleasure. The maintenance staff conduct routine maintenance - e.g. change batteries in the smoke detectors, replace air filters, flush hot water heaters, check fire extinguishers. This place is well managed.
Overall - this is a great property and was the right fit for my needs. Wonderful people, convenient location, and a well built, comfortable place to call home. Highly recommended.
