I have been a valued tenant here at Eastampton Gardens, but over the past three months my apartment has become infested with ants. I requested service on three occasions, but an exterminator only came out once. He did not rectify the ant infestation. Upon requesting to terminate the lease, they agreed to send out an exterminator again. I have maintained a clean apartment but these ants still continue to pour into my dwelling. Therefore, I still requested to terminate my lease. I was told by the... property manager that I needed to give 30 days notice and pay a penalty fee of one months rent. I reluctantly agreed, as I can not stay in this apartment any longer. Now, I have to stay here for another 30 days and pay the rent equivalence for 60 days. Future tenants beware this apartment complex has a pest problem and the complex will not help you in any way. I have also filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Hopefully I can receive help for this unjust.

would give 0 stars if possible

worst place to live ever. lived here for 8 months. moves in during March but it was warmer than usual. 1 week later went to use heat, it didn't work called maintenance, they came a few hours later. 2 weeks after heat broke again. fast forward to summer. went to use the a/c that didn't work. called maintenance came out a few days later. fixed it. a little over a week later it stopped working. called them again they came out to fix it but couldn't figure it out so they called an air conditioning... company and they fixed it in 5 minutes. this is now June. from June to September when we left our air conditioning barely worked and our electric bill was over $500 a month and the complex refused to fix it or give us credit to the electric bill. that's just the problems with the a/c. the "remodeled" kitchen had nothing but problems. Crack on the plastic microwave door exhaust fan at some point broke. cabinet doors loose, falling apart or damaged, bathroom had mold, every door was painted shut when we moved in. Air vents were plugged with dirt in every room. no air flow to either bedrooms (was told to close every other room so that the bedrooms had air. problem with that is living room gets very hot) the manager tried to convince me that no matter the out door temperature it would only go 10 degrees above or below the outdoor temp which by that logic means that if it's 110 outside it would only get to 100 inside which is not true. the outside deck wasn't safe. There's supposed to be 2 pillars to support the railing so it doesn't snap off. only one of them were there so the railing was really loose. I can't stress enough how horrible this place is.

Living in Eastampton Gardens Apartments

This is a nice, quiet, clean kept community with spacious floor plans. My first floor apartment has four large closets, stacked washer and dryer, dish washer, and a huge balcony for gatherings or relaxation. The downside is, it is difficult to heat in the winter because lack of insulation and poor venting system. You will feel draft from the patio doors and bedroom windows.
There is a convenience of private entrance, assigned front door parking, and mailboxes. The staff here are friendly and go...
the extra mile to help as well as the neighbors. You will find neighbors looking out for one another. This apartment is conveniently located near supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, major highways, library, schools, daycare… Pets are welcome.

RECENTLY OVERPRICED

When I moved into my apartment a little over 3 years ago I was more than happy with everything, price included. Recently management has raised the rent almost $200 since my move in. Tenants are expected to pay close to $1,000.00 for an apartments with no washer, dryer, garbage disposal, out of date appliances, and a laundrymat that accepts quarters only and you cannot make change with the leasing office.
