It's okay.
Been here quite awhile, seen a lot of people come and go. They've done a great job cleaning up the place (meaning trouble causing tenants) at least around my building. Just like everywhere else you'll have your rude neighbors and the ones you like. The superintendent/maintenance does a good job keeping up on things, sometimes they're overly busy and if possible it's best to just tend the small things yourself. Complaints get handled well, as do other requests. Some things need to be enforced a... bit better such as the amount of cars parked in certain spots to one "household", and the speed limit as kids do play outside and it makes one nervous how fast they speed in and out of the complex. Second floor living with children is a bit hard, especially with younger children as most first floor tenants don't have children and cannot grasp the concept that you can't forcefully make your child sit down at 2 in the afternoon every day or prevent them from making noise while playing outside, and any considerate parent does their best come evening hours to keep their kids quiet to respect rightful sleeping hours. So unfortunately that being said, most tenants with kids do reside on the second floor. Walls are thick, where I don't hear my neighbors, except below me (you can even hear them sneeze and flush their toilet, so no one wins in multiple floor housing). It seems the better way of living is if you keep to yourself, however as I stated some neighbors are great others not so much, but that's everywhere. For the price it's a decent place to live, not the cheapest but certainly not the most expensive. I've met all sorts of friendly dogs, so there's no lack of a leash law here with the abundance of pups. Majority of the time if you contact the office they're very helpful and kind, but not sure on rectifying certain situations as I have had none to contact them for.

Inconsiderate neighbors, owners don't step up
I've been here for 2.5 years and can't wait to leave. The only thing good about this place it's one or two good neighbors and Frank the superintendent/maintenance. He really takes care of the place and is on top of any repairs needed. The only room that holds heat in is the bedroom. The rest of the apartment is very drafty which doesn't bode well for your electricity bill. The walls are pretty good,i can't hear anyone beside me but the ceiling/ second floor...floor.....is just awful. Neighbors... let their kid run around and jump back and forth, up and down all day and night to where our bed even shakes. Or maybe the adults do it themselves who knows. Either way it sounds like a giant bridge troll is about to crash through the roof any second. Reading the NJ tenant rights, everyone has s right to a calm environment and it's every tenants responsibility to control their animals and family members so as not to disturb other people who pay to live here. Made a complaint to the owner because it's their responsibility to address it with the person causing the commotion and nothing was done. It Just gets worse by the day. Also, cops are always called on someone in the complex, you can't go a week without having to drive around a patrol car or two just to park. Would not recommend to anyone who has other options.
