Great Community to live

I have moved into this apartment a month ago, and I am enjoying the community!

Pros:
There are many stores (department stores, malls, etc.) in a walking distance. You don't need to drive anywhere. The apartment offers indoor parking for a price of $210/month (if you want your reserved space, you should pay $50 extra). You can walk next to the Hudson river and enjoy the view. I usually also walk along the river to Hoboken, which offers many good restaurants and stores. The safety of the...
neighborhood is one of its strength, since you can walk outside at anytime without worrying about anything. The apartment itself is a nice place, especially if your unit is renovated. The staff are very friendly and attend to your needs as soon as possible.

Cons:
There are a few neighbors who do not respect others, either by walking their dogs unleashed, or by leaving their apartment doors open while cooking. The whole floor gets the smell of their food, and you have to either call the security on them, or ask them to close their doors. I asked one of them politely and she did not leave the door open anymore.
Another issue is that the apartments do not have a hood that sucks the air out of the kitchen, resulting in the smell of food spreading to everywhere.
Another issue is the parquet of the apartments that becomes bumpy in the summer. The super told me that this issue arises only in the summer due to excessive humidity. It is a minor thing, but still is a problem.
