MOLD... MOLD... MOLD...
I have experienced mold issues for well over a year in the bathrooms and bedrooms. I was told it was OUR FAULT for not using the bathroom fans properly and not locking the windows properly which in turn caused the mold to flow from the windows to the walls. They ran a noisy fan or dehumidifier of some sort for 3 whole days and didn't reimburse me. Fast forward today I still have mold all along the exterior perimeter wall of my master bedroom and behind my bathroom door. My exterior bathroom... wall is always wet. Finally the carpet was taken up on one side and a fan placed to dry the cement and carpet for a couple of days. The outcome.. my electric bill for this month will be paid and the carpet replaced. We had to sleep in the bedroom after a water sealant with an offensive odor was sprayed. We woke up with migraines. They did not offer to relocate us while this issue is being corrected. Half of my room is in disarray. This is a foundation issue not an issue created by a tenant. Spraying water replant is not going to correct this problem. Water can't be stopped. It will occur again unless properly addressed. Management sucks.. No apology given to date.. No other arrangements.. Nothing.. Mind you we have mold allergies. They want their rent but do not want to address issues at inception so will string you along. I try hard every month not to give them their rent until the very last minute. Maintenance man Nelson is great.
