Great community and views! Huge living spaces! But...

While the neighborhood and views are amazing, it seems every building has issues with water damage. Any significant rainfall and you can expect water seeping through the ceiling and walls. Then you have the stench of wet walls over time, moldy smell. The property has done a nice job spending money on unnecessary cosmetic upgrades, when they should be spending it on a quality brick mason and redo the exterior and roofs of every building first. Nice to have new washing machines, a new gym, and... even new storage facilities, but I'd prefer a dry apartment and avoid the anxiety that comes with the next rain storm.

Over the past two-years we have installed 4 new roofs and the final 5th roof will be done next year. Also, each year we... have a mason do brick work to upkeep the buildings. Cozy, quiet waterfront living!

Moving to Harbor Terrace has been like a dream! Management and maintenance staff are professional, respectful, and communicative. The buildings and grounds are constantly maintained. There is ample parking for residents and guests, and downtown Perth Amboy and the waterfront are steps away. The units themselves are spacious and nicely renovated, and it’s so nice only having an electric bill to pay rather than multiple utilities.
