Great Apartment okay building
My apartment is in a great location especially if you work for New York Presbyterian Columbia. It is near some good restaurants and in a pretty safe neighborhood. Riverside park isn't far away and the view of the river from down the street is beautiful. My apt is large for New York. Their is a foyer and a decent size living room. The kitchen has tons of cabinet space and a counter but only one drawer. It does have a little dish washer that works great. The bathroom is an okay size and the tub... is fabulous and very deep. I have two closets and my room can fit a queen size bed and additional furniture. I have had a small roach problem but the building offers spray service monthly. The building is a little run down but has an elevator and laundry. The basement is where the laundry is. The laundry room is an okay and the machines work well. The is is smelly since it is right near the trash shoot and there are some dead cockroaches always on the floor to the basement. The trash shoot is a little small and recycling has to be carried down to the basement. Overall I love my apartment and building and recommend it.
