DO NOT MOVE HERE

The walls are so thin you can hear every neighbor at all times of the day. So many people play music super late and the walls are always pulsing at night.

The washing machines are consistently broken and take FOREVER to get fixed. There is only one unit on each floor so tenants are constantly using other floors.

The management DOES NOT answer emails. I have been reaching out for months and emailed 10+ times.

DO NOT MOVE TO THE 3rd FLOOR ON THE 220 SIDE! The 3rd floor has a yappy dog that...
NEVER stops barking at all hours of the day and the night. The tenant is so loud and the management refuses to do anything about it.

The ground floor consists of the gym, which is usually dirty and the whole floor smells like garbage, and the garbage room breeds huge flies.

Beautiful pre-war property

This apartment has a very nice charm to it and is in the best area. The units tend to be spacious and have good light. I heard they got new management since pre-Covid and have really changed the building. Overall, I’ve enjoyed living here and love the pre-war gramercy area. It’s so beautiful!

New Management Ruined a Great Building

The new management has ruined what was once a great building. They have taken away our doormen (due to budget cuts even though Rose Associates is not struggling lol) without lowering rent or giving a long enough prior notice. Next, the 3 bedrooms they advertise are really 2 bedrooms + loft. The loft rooms are terrible and have no windows and a shower that takes 10 minutes to heat up. Next, the building is loud. There are parties every weekend so if you are not willing to be in that type of... atmosphere do not move here. While the gym is okay it is silly that they close it at 11 PM. Without the doormen in 210 now, all packages are in 220 which causes people to have to go outside to get packages now which is just an added thing to have to do. People in 220 seem to have cockroaches often. The incompetent management took what was once a great value building into an overpriced fake luxury building. They should bring back doormen and allow ALL residents to visit the rooftop as the prior management had done. All in all, as the prices stand right now you can do way better even in this area. This place is overpriced and does not care about its residents. Good closet space though if that's a deciding factor for you.

Avoid at all costs

This is the worst building in nyc. Frat house with parties all night, loud 22 year olds partying in the hallway all hours of the night, smells like weed 24/7 and roach infested. This place is the worst and you should not move here unless you want the hallway party scene.

Worst building in the area

Everything about this building is terrible. The staff. The noise (the construction is so poor you can hear everything the neighbors do), there is constant construction and scaffolding up. They turn the water off for 12 hours regularly without little warning. There are roaches and you need exterminator visits weekly. You can't use the gym during COVID unless you make an appointment - but a few people hoard them. It's basically a dorm or a frat house - everyone's under 25 and it's packed with... parties every weekend. Loud music, maskless people walking around screaming at 2am, constant smell of weed. Packages get lost. Can't say enough bad about this building - DO NOT MOVE HERE.
