640 Fort Washington Avenue Apartments

We have a roomy two bedroom apartment in a well-kept building on Fort Washington Avenue by Fort Tryon Park. The A Train is 3 blocks away and the M4 bus is accross the street. . This is a pre-war building with good sound-proofing. We have three pianos and have had n o complaints,We have been here for 1 year. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 because the were quite few times that the hot water wasnot working. After a phone call to the super, the problem was always corrected in a timely manner. The... rooms of the apartment are large. We have app. 1500 square feet for $3,000 per month. People in the building and people in the neighborhood are friendly. I am comfortable walking home from the subway at any time of night. It is wonderful to be close to the park. There is a regular supermarket, a gourmet supermarket, a drugstore, wine store and dry cleaners a block away and many more restaurants and stores 6 blocks away. Read More
