Not the best at all

Water gets shut off regularly, got told they can’t do nothing g about kids knocking on my windows when trying to sleep and work from home and running off as if I’m suppose to jump out a bed and chase them down and find out what apartment they live in. They can send out mass text asking people to move their cars and what not but can’t send out a text about kids knocking on windows and running off . Not to mention on the day I moved in was given a time to pick up my key came at that time carpet... was still being put down cleaners hadn’t came to clean the apartment yet. So had to pay more money to keep my uhal longer since they told me to get the key at 4 and the apartment still was not ready at 4pm ! Oh not to mention the washer flooded my apartment my second day living here because they never hooked the hose up to the wall they just plug the washer that came with the apartment so not my own into the wall. The flood caused my bedroom carpet to get soaked so couldn’t stay here since they had to dry the carpet before they could replace again. Had a work order in by day 2 of my living here for my shower , had to text the office a month after being here and no one coming to fix it . It has been a nightmare . I miss my old complex the office staff was so kind and got things fixed immediately. Here it’s just kinda like oh well I’ll say sorry to make it seem like I care but won’t try to fix the issues .

Has gone down over the years

I've lived here for over years 12 years now. It was the ideal apartment because it is a one story community. The management was always nice and helpful, maintenance was prompt, and pricing was fair.

My apartment is old and run down now. I have the same old appliances, same carpet that needs to be replaced, and constantly needing the same things repaired (toilet, heat, air, stove, drawers, doors, etc). The toilet and heat/air is a monthly problem. As I write this now, I am freezing because my...
heater broke yet again on the coldest day of the year.

I am single and live alone, so I am confident I am not the reason these things are constantly falling apart. It is just typical wear and tear from old age. However, the complex will not replace or upgrade anything until it is beyond repair or you move out.

I was told for years they would remodel and get new appliances but nothing ever came. I was fine with this, because I realized I was paying less for my rent than new tenants. Then, when I signed my latest lease, they raised my rent nearly $100 (in the past it never raised more than $30~40), and then said I needed to pay an additional $30 a month if I want new appliances. So, now I am paying the same as new renters who already get new appliances and remodels with no benefit. There is no loyalty for old tenants. The apartment is no longer worth what I am paying for it. Its falling apart. They just raised prices to match the market but the quality does not match the market. Who ever owns or runs this place cares more about making money than taking care of loyal tenants.

The manager seems friendly but the front desk assistant is probably the least friendly out of all the assistants over the past several years. Maybe it was a bad day, but she seemed to have a bit of an attitude the only time I ever went to the office to ask her for help. The past clerks were much nicer and helpful.

Also, just a fair warning, all packages now have to be picked up at the post office if they do not fit in your mail box. It is also a pain to finding any parking, and you are not allowed to grill at this complex. They said they would install communal grills years ago, but they never came. The pool usage also has very strict rules.

Poor management

This management team is awful, they are unprofessional, uncooperative, and very disrespectful in talking to people. I moved in last July and was without air for weeks until I threatened to call the local news channels. The manager will tell you what she thinks you want to hear and then denies saying it. I cleaned my own apartment when I moved in due to their inadequate cleaning staff. I had used carpet that they said was cleaned, but the carpet cleaners weren’t in there 10 minutes cleaning the... whole apartment. When I moved out they charged me for carpet cleaning, which should be considered normal wear & tear. They charge a $400 per deposit, $200 non refundable, that carpet cleaning should have come out of that $200 no refundable. I have Never Not gotten my full deposit back. The pool is seldom open!!! There is a rodent problem!!! Need I go on? If you want to live in a stress free complex, This is not it!!!

Unless you want to live where nothing get fixed

I mean they make up every excuses for why they cannot get things done in your apt. The office staff will tell you anything to get you off the phone instead of getting maintenance request done. I have been here for 3 months and still waiting on maintenance request to be completed. When they call themselves fixing things its half assed just to say they did it. There is no Granite counter top,no updated appliances, my kitchen cabinet doors are all different wood. Its crazy!! The pool is almost... always closed and when its open its not clean. Upon move in the apt was dusty, dirty, and ,the tub had someones body imprints in it. Not to mention they allowed someone to move in to an apt with a broken window and it stayed like that for 3 days, as if it was of no importance. I was hoping to get these issues handled as soon as possible but they continued to be prolonged. Instead of enjoying my space that I would to call home I am asking for things that SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN DONE. Learn from my lesson, don't sign a lease until things are done correctly and up to your standards. Dont listen to the staff that say, "yes all of that will be done before you move in" and if its not just walk away beacuse the likelihood of it getting done in a timely manner is slim.If you want something newer, nicer, upgraded, people that care, this may not be the property for you.
