Poor Management
I ended up moving to Brookmont after another Morgan Properties apartment I had leased was deemed uninhabitable due to a gas leak into the unit and mold throughout the unit. Because of those conditions, Morgan Properties allowed me to terminate that lease on the very first day and transfer to Brookmont.
Unfortunately, my experience at Brookmont was also frustrating. PGW continued billing the property for gas charges that I had already paid, and management was largely unresponsive in helping... resolve the issue. I spent hours on the phone with both Brookmont management and PGW before the billing error was finally corrected (Over $800). Despite the mistake not being mine, I was still charged approximately $60 in utility-related fees. You will pay a split water and gas bill for your building. I felt as though I grossly overpaid as I was the only person living in my unit paying the same as the family of 5 across the hall
The parking lot is another concern. Children frequently ride bikes and electric scooters throughout the area with little supervision, making vehicle damage a real possibility. During my time there, it felt like getting your car hit by a child on an e-scooter was only a matter of time. There are people who sleep in their cars in the parking lot, The concern was brought up to the office and nothing was done.
Walls are paper thin make sure if you rent here there are no other kids in the building.
I personally had no issues with mice or cockroaches and maintenance was responsive with issues.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We are sorry to hear that your residency did not meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
We understand how stressful your previous housing situation must... have been, and we are glad we were able to assist with your transfer to Brookmont when your prior apartment became uninhabitable. We also regret the frustration you experienced while resolving the PGW billing issue. Utility billing matters involving third-party providers can be complex, but we understand the time and effort required on your part and apologize for any inconvenience this caused. We encourage residents to contact the management office whenever discrepancies arise so we can work directly with the utility provider to help facilitate a resolution.
With regard to utility charges, our community utilizes a utility billing structure that is outlined in the lease agreement and applied consistently to residents within the building. We understand that residents may have different perspectives on the fairness of shared utility allocations based on household size and appreciate your feedback regarding this process.
We also take resident safety concerns seriously. Our team investigates reports related to parking lot activity and works to maintain a safe environment for all residents and visitors. While we cannot control the actions of every individual on the property, concerns brought to our attention are reviewed and addressed as appropriate.
We are sorry to hear that noise from neighboring apartments impacted your comfort. Multifamily living can sometimes present challenges related to noise transmission, and we encourage residents to report ongoing disturbances so our team can address lease violations when applicable.
We do appreciate your positive comments regarding our maintenance team and are pleased to hear that service requests were handled responsively during your residency. Resident feedback helps us identify opportunities for improvement, and we thank you for sharing your experience.
We wish you all the best in your new home
