DO NOT MOVE HERE
Do not move here. Don’t just think twice about it — seriously reconsider signing a lease at this property.
We took possession of our apartment at Stoney Pointe on September 11, 2026, and our experience has been extremely frustrating from the moment we entered.
Before moving a single personal belonging inside, we documented live cockroaches throughout the apartment, including both bedrooms, bathrooms, hallway, kitchen, dishwasher area, dining area, and living room. We have extensive photos and… videos from the day we entered and the following morning.
We immediately reported the conditions to management within the lease’s required 48-hour reporting period. We also documented numerous additional maintenance concerns and provided management with a detailed written notice.
Unfortunately, there has also been an overall lack of communication from management. We’ve repeatedly had to seek answers regarding conditions that were present when we first received possession.
We requested to be released from the lease. Management has now responded in writing that releasing us without penalty or other applicable lease obligations is “not an option.”
Management says it will coordinate pest control and investigate the other reported issues, and we are cooperating with reasonable access. However, dealing with these problems before we’ve even moved our belongings into the apartment has been extremely disappointing.
If you’re considering this property, inspect the exact unit you’re renting extremely carefully before moving anything inside. Take photos and videos of everything and report every issue in writing immediately.
We intend to make our experience publicly known through review platforms and, if necessary, appropriate local media and consumer-protection resources. We would prefer to resolve this directly with management, but we will share our documented experience so prospective residents can make informed decisions.
