Management is a nightmare
I have lived here for a few years, and the living conditions have significantly deteriorated in the past eight months. Last March/April, the complex was bought out, and the new management has been unresponsive and ineffective. I’ve sent multiple complaints about major issues and received no response. Worse, when serious security or maintenance problems arise, residents are rarely notified.
The elevator breaks down at least once a month and can remain out of service for an entire weekend.... Communication about repairs is inconsistent, leaving residents in the dark about timelines or resolutions.
The garage gate has been broken for six months, leading to multiple car break-ins. The damage was caused by repeated accidents, but there has been no communication from management about a permanent fix or measures to improve security.
Security issues extend beyond the garage. Many doors in the building have broken latches, and packages are frequently stolen. At one point, a main lobby door was propped open for weeks, and the ground-floor door in one stairwell was jammed shut—a significant safety hazard.
The fire alarms are another nightmare. They malfunction frequently, often in the middle of the night (e.g., 1 a.m., 3:30 a.m.), causing major disruptions. Inspections triggered by these malfunctions are scheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice, leaving little time for residents to prepare.
Parking is another frustration. The spots are so small that larger vehicles like SUVs and trucks often sustain damage from tight spacing. My own car has been scratched due to the lack of space.
The only positive about this complex is the location, but there are far better options just a block away. While this building is slightly cheaper, the constant problems, lack of communication, and safety concerns make it clear that you get what you pay for—or, in this case, what you don’t. I strongly advise exploring other options before considering this property.
