Poorly managed
Water and sewer costs were higher than normal ($70 rather than the normal $25-30) due to a leak in the garage and the cost of that was passed on to the residents rather than being absorbed by the property owner. Nothing has been communicated to us to indicate we will be refunded this additional charge.
Earlier in the week, I'd submitted a maintenance request in the resident portal due to issues that were going on with plumbing. No one responded to it or took my calls for three days, resulting... in sewage flooding into my unit. No one is working with me to end my lease or to reimburse me for the property I lost as a result of them not taking action sooner.

Look elsewhere
Multiple months of $70+ dollar water/sewer bills without legitimate feedback. I've spoken to several homeowners after Metro's rate increase and no one has anywhere near this jump in price (most within 10 dollars for multi-story houses).
Noise is a huge issue here. If you live on the side facing Eastland Ave, you'll hear nearly every car pass by in the bedroom and you can follow your neighbor's conversations if you're so inclined. Been averaging 4-5 hours of sleep lately due to stomping and... adjacent screaming.
Additionally, half the people with dogs don't pick up pet waste and there was a rash of cars getting broken into near/in the garage next to the parking lot.

Location and space is cool. The rest... eh
Maintenance entered my apartment without previous notice-- came home to a missing microwave. Packages frequently went missing so just stopped having things delivered there eventually. Despite many pleas from the tenants for the whole year I was in the building, they only installed security cameras AFTER a serious crime occurred and someone was held up at gunpoint (at least there are security cameras now...). Building advertises a referral fee for setting them up with new tenants, but they are... refusing to pay me because I'm not renewing my lease and they are now saying that you have to be an active tenant to receive the fee.
Didn't hate the space, but management and policies have been absurd from day one. Best thing is the location and the maintenance guy, he's cool.
