Don't move here

6 years and every year it got worse. My ice maker still doesn't work even after they closed the ticket multiple time. I finally gave up and stopped asking then to fix it. They built a quad in front of my apartment, mind you after I moved in which I would have chosen a different apartment because people are out there until 3am and when I brought this to they're attention and asked if there will be a curfew like the pool they stated they're won't be they just ask people to be respectful. Obviously... that's not going to happen if they are out there until 3am. They then decide to redo the parking lot (twice) which caused a lot of us to have to park somewhere else. I pay $30/ month for a carport.I asked if they will compensate us they said no. The gates never work and we constantly have homeless people walking in and out. One even jumped in the pool. They did nothing when I said she was walking around. Two residents called the cops because she was harassing them. They charge you an amenities fee when for almost a year the pool was closed and the gyms equipment at times don't work and the gates don't work. They finally put a lock in the walk up gate.Again been here 6 years and they never had one. When I told them I've emailed multiple times about how my neighbor smokes in his apartment they finally told me yesterday that they don't receive ICloud emails. Mind you I've told them multiple times before now I emailed them and they said didn't "see it". I confirmed my email address with them multiple times which is an iCloud and no one mentioned that. And for anyone asking I went in and told them that my neighbor was smoking in his apartment and was making my apartment smell so bad especially my upstairs bathroom. They also told me they gave him a letter, but it obviously didn't help because he still smoke and my apartment smells like smoke. Now let's get into now I Unfortunately have to break my lease due to medical reasons which causes me not to be able to afford my rent. I went to the management team to ask for a payment plan to be able to break my lease. I even offered to show them my medical bills and even a doctors note that shows I have to miss work with shows why I'm not able to pay my lease, but all they told me there's nothing they can do and if I don't pay it before the 30days they have to move forward with a default lease. So disheartening especially since I've been there for 6 years and was never late on rent

Good location but lacking otherwise

The location is great for my needs, and the community, with different management would be great. Do not count on it for more than when your lease is up. No matter how good of a tenant you are, if they feel they could make more money for your apartment they will tell you that your apartment will be renovated and need you out of there. The apartment is not going to be renovated and will be rented out again as soon as you leave. This happened to me, and now happened bn to a set of tenants I met... before i left. The controlled access gates they promote never work and are pretty much always left open. Im not sure if the people who commented before me had different management because in my case and the tenants I know, management is lacking because they don’t have many employees. The apartments on the pictures are obviously the nicest ones and the rest look very outdated compared to the pictures. Gym is ok, neighbors were pretty good and quiet.

Iron Rock Ranch Apartments

These apartments are stunning, the grounds are well kept, and the staff working is very attentive. They will handle your issues efficiently and with care, I love living here. Its a very welcoming community and so close to South Park Meadows so I can always go shopping without the inconvenience of traffic or a long drive.

Iron Rock Ranch Apartments

Living in Iron Rock Apartments is perfect for any kind of household. It has a family friendly environment that include areas such as the two pools inside the complex, the gym, main office, volleyball and basketball courts, playgrounds and the park in the back. For animal lovers it also includes a wonderful dog-park dedicated to man's best friend. It includes a water fountain with fresh water for them and a shower for hot summer days. If that still does not catch your attention, there is Mary... Moore park less than a mile walk from here (which yes, it includes hiking and swimming holes in Austin), grocery stores all around and a very safe environment.

As close as perfection

Living in Iron Rock Ranch has been an amazing experience. What I love about it is that it has many things where the family can have fun. They have a lighted basketball court, a beach volleyball court, a playground, a doggy park, two pools, a relaxing hot tub and an outdoor area to grill. The location is great since is very close to shopping centers and to the main highways. We have enjoyed living here and we can call this place our "home". It is as close as it gets to perfection and this is... something you won't find anywhere else.
