Roach Infested
Roaches. Everywhere. The day I moved in, I noticed bodies in every room. I told office staff and was assured they just did an extra atrosol (sp?) treatment, and I would just see some roaches for a few days while the chemicals worked. I was also told pest control would stop by. Before I moved any of my stuff in, I bought a gallon of bug killer and used the entire thing throughout the apartment and cleaned very well. I moved in, and roaches were roaming around. In every room. An abundance in the... pantry, in the dishwasher and stove. Coming out of the smoke alarms. The day pest control was set to come by I was off for the day. I also had set up a camera on my door. No one came. I received an email from the office stating pest control couldn't service my unit as I had not secured my pet. I had a camera. I was home. They never came. I messaged that information to the office. They stated it must have been a mistake. Pest control would come by the following week. Again, I was off and had a camera. The only time pest control even came near my door, they simply walked by. I messaged that information to the office again. They apologized and said they would get with pest control. I never heard another thing. I hired my own exterminator. He came and sprayed. He told me that while his chemical would reduce the issue, it wouldn't completely knock out the roaches as the whole building is infested. I was still awaken in the middle of the night by roaches crawling on me or my baby. My little girl would sleep with a fly swatter so she could kill them when they woke her. I found roaches running around inside my brand new washer and dryer. I went to put on my work boots, and a roach came running out. I had no choice but to move.
