Previously excited, but overall disappointed

Was incredibly excited to live here, and the first month was great. As months go by however, I am more and more disappointed with the complex.

Our dryer is cracked, catching and ripping up my clothes. I’ve had to throw away 3 shirts since moving in 2 months ago. I’ve submitted an inquiry and management has not even reached out. My girlfriend’s towel bar in the bathroom also fell off and no repair.

I was not told we would have carpet in our apartment before moving in. Bought a whole carpet for... nothing before realizing we had carpet installed.

I’m currently sweating in the gym because the A/C doesn’t seem to work and hasn’t for the past week or two. Residents have been opening the door to the building patio to get air. The roof leaks, and the gym overall doesn’t seemed to be taken care of. There is currently a random guy that has been watching the football game for the past hour and not working out/loitering in jeans and a button up. I’ve seen two women enter and immediately leave the gym after seeing this, and overall I personally don’t feel comfortable using the facilities I paid for. There’s even a ceiling fan that’s falling off of the ceiling. I’m staying here to make my girlfriend feel safe.

sad and disappointed, because I was excited to live here for years but will most likely find somewhere else to move once my lease is up.
