I signed a 14 month lease here, and have been here for 11 of those months so far. This is what I can tell you.
The gates do not work. When touring I was told that they were under maintenance, but then when we moved in we were told that they were always open. It's a safe area and I haven't had any issues with break ins, so it isn't a big deal. The person giving me a tour was new, so I chose to think that they were just misinformed.
The WiFi sucks. The WiFi is part of rent as it's built in, but... it isn't that good. They told us that we could get our own WiFi, but we would still have to pay for WhiteSky.
One of the drawers in the kitchen is basically unusable from the handles, but something that could have been easily fixed by switching handles.
Bathrooms are inside of the bedrooms, which isn't preferred for me, but truly isn't a big deal.
While there are some downsides, it is a nice apartment. The unit is beautiful. The balcony is HUGE for 2 and 3 bedroom, even 1 bedroom looks nice, and if you pick right, it overlooks the city or the pool. Any maintenance that we've requested has been the same day or the next day. They respond to emails right away. Trash is valet, so they come 5 days a week and will take boxes. They pressure wash the breezeways every couple months. About once a month they bring in food trucks, it makes for an easy dinner.
All in all, I recommend this complex. If you can look past the lack of gates and the occasionally slow WiFi, it's good. Read More

Maintenance takes forever to fulfill service requests, the apartments are cheaply built - my second floor apartment had horrible leaks during heavy rain - and when you move out they will charge you for EVERYTHING.

Luxurious, SAFE, convenient, prompt maintenance and accomodating staff (especially Britain, the Assistant Manager!????

We're really glad we've choosen this apartment community, the satisfaction and comfort are for REAL!!!!!!??

The staff are RUDE.
You get your apartment and as soon as you move in they will NEVER pick up the phone for you if you call the front office.

The Melograno Apartment Complex, with its red tile rooves is like a village in Italy. It is beautifully manicured & has a European feel. The pool area is surrounded by Palm Trees and flowers with birds and butterflies just like a tropical garden. There are fountains at each end of the pool and Bar-B-Que pits for family fun. There are lovely seating areas and cabana’s to gather together. They have free Wi-Fi and an outdoor fire place with a large screen TV.Melograno has a private lake on the... property with fish that jump & play. There are garages and private parking. The club house hosts lots of parties throughout the year to promote a sense of community. There is complimentary Starbucks coffee, a computer room, workout room, and even a room to wrap gifts with complimentary paper and ribbon provided. The staff at Melegrano are warm, helpful, and caring. Everyone makes you feel so special and welcome. It is a secure community and I feel very safe here. My ground floor apartment has an open floor plan with – lots of windows and closets. It has a huge balcony and outdoor storage space. It faces a manicured golf course with a lake and fountain and lots of little bunnies running all around. Melograno is less than a half mile from Baylor Scott & White hospital and the famous Round Rock outlet mall. It is very close to shopping and restaurants.
