Bad
You are a number. That's it. There is no customer service. It is clear that they don't need you as a customer, there are plenty of other students who will rent if you don't. They are not motivated to keep their customers.

Not safe, amenities inaccessible, incompetent and inattentive office staff, overcharging
I lived at Park Place for two years, and the significant decrease in quality of every aspect makes me pity any who signed a lease for the coming years. I lived here for both convenience of location and safety with the gated parking and fingerprint access. I also paid $35 a month for parking. However, the parking garage was not secure and functional literally the entire 2021-2022 school year. The fingerprint access broke multiple times on the entrances from the garage to the building and was only... fixed due to my friends putting in maintenance requests. The reports of residents’ cars being broken into has not caused alarm in the staff - only in my feeling of security. There have been times where residents are unable to get packages for no reason despite the office being open. I can count on one hand the amount of nice and helpful staff. Another “perk” of Park Place is the great amenities. The pool was closed from August-May, and it was considered a lease violation to access this amenity. I posted a positive google review last year solely because I was given a $5 gift card to do so. The only positive thing I could think to add was how kind the maintenance staff was, which is impressive considering the building was built rushed and is literally falling apart (not their fault). Also, many rooms have had issues with mold, including mine. Park Place does not even deserve the 1 star I have given it.
Update: 8/18/22 I received my move out statement yesterday and was charged $199 for damages that were not left. The pictures included are not even of my apartment. I called to remedy the situation, and I cannot get ahold of the office.

Horrible, avoid at all costs
This place has horrible management. The people working do not know how to solve issues or attend to matters. They are nice but there is absolutely no professionalism. The management are all friends and essential gossip about the apartment to each other. Same with maintenance. They are all nice as well but very, very chatty about your personal business to each other. You go talk to them to take care of an issue and it will blow up in your face. There is no privacy at all. In light of covid-19, my... family and I struggled with our financial situation, but they gave no discount or reduction on the leasing cost even though all the amenities were closed and I was not even living there. I had to pay months that I was not there, full cost. The apartment looks all modern and fancy on the outside but it is just that. The couches are all ripped, the paint on the walls come off with the slightest touch of moisture/water, they charge you to replace $8 lightbulbs all the time--when you move in or out. Do NOT live here. The only thing good about this place is how close is it to campus. I saw the reviews before I signed a lease and thought, "It should be fine." However, it was a nightmare to live here. Don't even get me started on the wifi. The wifi is so horrible and barely works for anything. The fire alarms were absolutely awful too. The first WEEK I moved in, the fire alarms broke and they would go off 5-7 times in a day. It is absolutely startling and ear-busting. They didn't bother to fix it until the weekend. The staff is so slow to solve issues if they solve them at all. If for some insane reason you decide to live here, ALWAYS check to see if you recognize all the charges. They try to charge you and overcharge you with all these random little fees and such. Otherwise, AVOID this apartment at ALL COSTS. It is a nightmare to live here. Never lived at an apartment so awful. I would give 0 stars or even negative stars if I could. They try to charge you for light bulbs $7 a piece after you move out.

Overcharge
They are trying to charge each resident in a 4 bedroom $8 for a light bulb that was not out when the keys were turned in. DO NOT MOVE HERE as I can not list all the other issues that have occurred here in a single year. They only care about the almighty dollar not the kids at all!!
STAY AWAY!!
