Mismanaged and overpriced
The building and facilities appear to be nice but everything is so poorly managed. Many of the 5-star reviews appear to be from people who have not moved in yet. Unfortunately, my experience as a resident is much different. Within a month of moving in, a major leak from the unit above damaged my ceiling. My car was broken into because the parking garage does not have proper security. The building relies on an access control app that frequently crashes, resulting in doors being propped open.... Despite requests, the owners refuse to provide key fobs. Residents frequently leave pet messes in hallways and elevators without cleaning them. Smoking in common areas like the lobby and courtyard makes it impossible to keep windows open without my apartment smelling like smoke. The trash room is always overflowing because the chute is often locked. I also found a dead mouse in the second floor hallway. To add to the frustrations, I haven’t received a single utility bill since moving in, yet there are steep monthly fees. While the leasing consultants are helpful and friendly, the overall building management is incredibly disappointing. For the high cost of living in this brand new building, I expected more from a luxury apartment in downtown Norfolk.
