The Cornish Home Brewery opened in 1885, and quenched thirsts in Richmond and beyond for many years. It was redeveloped into 37 apartments in 2008, and is a landmark building on the corner of Clay and Harrison Streets, about a block from VCU’s Siegel... Center. The property’s historic features include old grain storage equipment, arched brick ceilings, and the original rail spur and loading dock used for deliveries—preserved among beautiful living spaces. Part of University Property since July 2020. All apartments include free high speed internet and are wired for DIRECTV. Customers pay for their electricity usage and $35 a month for water.
