DON'T

DON'T! Just DON'T. If you can afford a little more then DO it and find something better. If you dont mind walking thru dog poop even on sidewalks, constant dog barking while home, drug activity around bldg and staff who provide half truths or standard polite "I understand" and "I'm sorry" and then do nothing or change story after committing to remedy issues, then this is the place for you.

Bad if you have a car

I get my car towed atleast twice a month.. even with a parking pass. Tow companies just come onto the lot in the middle of the night and take your car without any pictures or anything. Street parking, your car will be towed. Paid parking lot, your car will be towed and the rental office has been doing nothing about it.

Inconsistent

I’ve been living here for a while. When I first moved in, I loved it. Kristie and Bre(2 former employees) were amazing. They took care of situations in a timely manner and were very nice. Since Dodson has taken over, it seems to have gone downhill. The turnover rate is so high, you never know who you’re going to speak with. There’s s new face every 6 months. My neighbors have a noisy dog which literally barks ALL day non stop and nothing has been done about it. Not to mention the door has been... broken for a while now. This place has potential to be great, however, the quality has gone down and the rent has gone up, when I was told my rent would not change.

Surprisingly Ok

I have lived here for a year and surprisingly (knock on wood) it has been better than I expected it to be. It's the only place in Richmond I could afford to live alone with my dogs (two awesome and friendly pits, so glad they don't have breed restrictions), so my expectations weren't high but it actually hasn't been bad. However, I have been lucky with good, mature neighbors. I can occasionally hear them, but its never late at night or anything. I can DEFINITELY see how your experience here can... very quickly turn horrible if you have neighbors that party a lot, play loud music often or smoke weed, as the walls are VERY thin. Parking kind of sucks, since it's street parking. If you get home after 10 pm you have to drive around for like 20 minutes until you catch someone pulling out of a spot. Maintenance has always been decent and the people in the leasing office are friendly. Appliances in the apartment are nice, I've never had any issues with anything. The concrete floors are cool too, but would recommend getting a rug since its not the most comfortable flooring. My biggest complaint is that you HAVE to have Verizon cable/internet, which sucks because they charge a boatload for it. I have to pay like $115 a month, which is ridiculous because this is an INCOME-RESTRICTED place and you would think they would let you have something else a bit cheaper. But I know apartments are known to make contracts with these companies and overcharge us. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience here enough to renew my lease.
