Title: Disappointing Experience: Neglected Property Maintenance and Unresponsive Management
Review:
I have been a tenant at Heather Ridge 20407 68th ave West Lynnwood Washington, for over a decade, during which time I have consistently paid rent and fees on time. However, my experience with the property management and the overall condition of the premises has been deeply disappointing.
Lack of Amenities Maintenance:
The amenities promised by the property, such as the pool, have been woefully...
neglected. Despite being advertised, the pool is often unusable due to freezing cold water, even during operational hours when sunlight is limited from 10 am to 7 pm. This lack of consideration for tenant comfort is unacceptable.
Sanitation Issues:
The common areas of the property are frequently littered with dog waste, which not only poses health hazards but also reflects a disregard for basic cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Substandard Appliance Replacement:
Management's approach to appliance maintenance and replacement is equally disappointing. Instead of addressing issues with old and outdated appliances, they merely replace them with similarly aged equipment. New appliances are reserved for units with specific issues, such as cockroach infestations, creating an unequal living environment for tenants.
Water Quality Concerns:
The quality of water in some units, including my own bathroom, is subpar, with water appearing rusty and discolored. This is not only concerning but also raises questions about the property's adherence to health and safety standards.
Inadequate Carpet Maintenance:
Despite living in the unit for ten years, management has refused to replace my worn-out carpet. The carpet has separated from transition strips, posing a safety hazard in high-traffic areas like the bathroom and hallway. While some units receive piecemeal carpet repairs, not all tenants are afforded the same treatment, leading to disparities in living conditions.
In conclusion, the property management's negligence towards maintenance issues and their unresponsiveness to tenant concerns are unacceptable. As a paying tenant who has upheld my end of the lease agreement, I expect to live in a safe, clean, and habitable environment. I urge prospective tenants to carefully consider these factors before choosing to rent at this property.

Staff suck and so do the apartments

Rats, roaches, ants, you name the infection, heather ridge has it. Between the zero communication skills required by staff and their lack of interest in taking care of the mold, this place was the worst place I've ever lived. They're refusing to take my calls and sent me to collections despite telling me a month after move out I don't owe anything. $1.5k down on an apartment and I still owe $3k?? They won't give me an itemized list for the charges, and refused to contact anyone else on my old... lease, only naming me to the creditors, and refuing to take my flatmates information (both them and the creditors. DONT MOVE IN HERE EVER!!!! no matter how desperate you are the streets in Seattle are better

Not too bad

Staff and neighbors are great, the buildings are older, you get a lot of rust coming out of the water andvwhen you move out they deduct from your deposit the replacement of the shower head like if it was your fault or you damaged it, they also chrged me for replacing the exhaust fan in the bathroom, which I didnt damage, it was old and worn out, they couldnt explain how that was my fault either.
I would not return there.
