New manager is nice

Maggie seems very nice and is super responsive and helpful, I wish this building had a valid representation for the majority of bad reviews result from the old, mean manager.

Domestic violence and no hot water!

The management does not care for their tenants! They have you sign a lease that states there is a zero tolerance for DV in the building, BUT each night myself and other neighbors have to call the police regularly because a couple that is abusive and disturbs the peace from 10pm till 3am some nights. This is triggering for any person who has been in abusive relationships in the past. This apartment building is a hell hole and not worth their extremely high rent prices for tiny studios with no hot... water.

No matter how many requests I or other tenants submit, the hot water and pressure issue is constantly a problem. We are sick and tired of excuses and paying high rent to love in uninhabitable living conditions.

Light, character, and cross-breeze

A corner studio at Campus Apts is a great deal- spacious, efficient layout in the heart of the U District. College food at every corner, nearby groceries, and an unfortunately close proximity to a college bar - you decide whether to sleep or joint the revelries at night.

The units are very light, with nice windows, and beautiful light hardwood floors. While there is a lot of classical moulding all over, everything has unfortunately been painted over.

There is a great character- some more...
cumbersome than others: like very high ceilings, a handful of crystal-eqsue doorknobs, and separate faucets for hot and cold. If you're wanting a bit of a well maintained old fashioned feel, then look no further than the checkered linoleum kitchen floor and quaint built-in dining nook.

Rent is affordable for a U District apartment, where demand is out of control for close apartments. After 3 years, I still haven't found a compelling reason to leave.
