Nice view and that’s about it

I thought I was going to love this apartment building because of the view of downtown and don’t get me wrong nothing beats it! As for the everything else it’s not great… The elevator always seems to be broken.. It seems like it happens once a week which makes me not even want to take it anymore. The balcony’s are so old you can’t even hang anything in the wood like lights because the wood is all rotted and it can’t hold nails or any weight. Most of the things within the apartment are falling... apart or don’t work we’ll. They also refuse to work with you when it comes to needing maintenance done. If you want to be home because you don’t want strangers in your apartment(you have a right to deny this as a tenet) they don’t care. According to the apartment manager who lives in the building too “maintenance tells us when they are coming” they don’t work around residents schedules or requests… ummmm ok?? The apartment manger is also rude and lies a lot. We were told a lot of stuff and promises before moving in but after we did it ended up being a lie or she just changes her mind and doesn’t inform you of anything. She’ll not respond to texts and if you call her out on her bullshit she just ignores you. Super professional…. I don’t know how she is allowed to have this job because I could do a better job at this point. Her family also moved in the building and we were told no one is allowed to use the door codes it’s key access only because if safety concerns yet I see them multiple times using a door code to get in. We can’t even give a code Amazon to let packages in. The apartment managers dog is also always barking and never seems to be controlled which as a service animal you should have your dog be trained and not running down apartment hallways or parking lot barking like a maniac. Very distracting when you are trying to work from home… Don’t even get me started on the parking lot because the parking situation is a disaster.
